RICHMOND, Va. -- The coldest air so far this Fall season is settling into Virginia today. Highs will range 20 to 30 degrees colder this afternoon compared to Wednesday afternoon.
I expect most of us to only make it into the mid to upper 40s this afternoon. An upper-level disturbance will send clouds over us today and also bring the chance for some scattered light rain showers later this afternoon and evening.
Those of you north and west of Richmond could see a few snowflakes mixed in with those rain showers this evening, but nothing will stick or be disruptive.
