CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. - Several small explosions shook-up a Chesterfield community early Wednesday morning. A number of neighbors along Hopkins Court reported hearing the blasts overnight and smelled smoke.
Neighbors called for help around 1:30 a.m. after seeing flames come from a building in the area. When fire crews arrived they discovered a large shed behind a home fully engulfed in flames.
There was added concern, not only because the shed was located behind a house but also because of the shed's proximity to a gas tank. The fire was put out within 15 minutes, with no reported injuries.
Fire investigators are now trying to determine what sparked the early more fire.
