RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR/CBS) – VCU Rams men’s basketball head coach Shaka Smart is the subject of this weekend’s CBS Sports NCAA MEN OF MARCH series. Due to contractual obligations, the special will air on CBS 6 at 7 p.m. Saturday night.
“NCAA MEN OF MARCH: SHAKA SMART provides a unique showcase of Coach Smart’s life, philosophy and style, with a blend of all-access footage and interviews. Clark Kellogg conducts the interview,” according to CBS Sports.
“How many people does it take to be successful?” Smart asks in a preview clip released by CBS Sports. “The answer is everybody. How many people does it take to mess it up? The answer is one. What drives me more than anything is trying to help our team.”
The special was scheduled to air at 1 p.m. on CBS 6, however due to contractual obligations, CBS 6 will broadcast Miami at N.C. State at 1 p.m. followed by North Carolina at Virginia Tech. NCAA MEN OF MARCH: SHAKA SMART will air on CBS 6.3 at 1 p.m. LSU at Florida will be shown at 4 p.m.
