Man wanted for robbery inside West End grocery store

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico Police are looking for a man who robbed the Union First Market Bank inside a MARTIN’s grocery store. The robbery took place Thursday morning about 9:30 a.m. in the MARTIN’s on West Broad St. near Pemberton Rd.

Police said the man handed the bank teller a note and indicated he had a weapon. Police described the suspect as a white male, 5’6”-5’8” tall, thin to medium build, brown hair, glasses, wearing a tan jacket and khaki pants.

He was last seen headed towards Pemberton Rd. with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. No one was hurt.
