UPDATE: Police reopened the streets around 10 a.m. The backpack was deemed not dangerous, according to a tweet from Richmond Police.
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond Police are investigating after an “unattended backpack” was discovered in downtown Richmond.
Currently, eastbound Broad Street is closed between 6th and 7th Streets. Northbound 7th Street is closed between Grace and Broad Streets, according to police.
