RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Police announced the arrest of two men in connection to a homicide inside a Richmond high rise.

Melvin C. Bolling Jr., 42, of Claiborne Street, and Michael A. Wilson, 47, of Ardendale Road, are both charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. Police said additional charges are expected.

The men are accused of plotting to rob 46-year-old Joel Heatley inside the William Byrd Apartments at 2501 W. Broad Street. Heatley, who lived on Cutshaw Ave., was found suffering from a gunshot wound and died at the scene, police said.
