STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Human remains discovered off Interstate 95 in Stafford County have been identified as Katherine Bryant. Bryant, who was last seen in Washington D.C., was reported missing in 2006, according to an email from Stafford County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Bill Kennedy.
Police do suspect foul play in Bryant’s death.
A trucker discovered Bryant’s remains in the woods off I-95 on August 16. Investigators used DNA to identify the remains.
