RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Before the Backstreet Boys, before ‘N Sync, and yes even before the New Kids on the Block, there was New Edition. Formed in Boston, New Edition hit it big in the early 1980’s with songs like “Candy Girl” and “Cool It Now.”
Now the former boy band is on its 30th anniversary tour and making a stop in Richmond.
New Edition will perform Saturday, April 28 at the Richmond Coliseum.
In addition to classic New Edition songs, the members will perform greatest hits from their solo and spin-off careers like Bobby Brown’s “My Prerogative” and Bell Biv DeVoe’s “Poison.”
Tickets range from $50.50 to $126 and are on sale now at the Richmond Coliseum Box Office, Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets and Charge-By-Phone at 1-800-745-3000.
