CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police arrested a Midlothian High School student for bringing a weapon to campus, according to Chesterfield Police spokeswoman Liz Caroon.
Grayson T. Simmons, 18, is charged with possession of a weapon on school property.
Police said on Feb. 24, a double-edged knife was found in the student’s vehicle which was parked on Midlothian High School property. The knife was located during an administrative search by the school.
In an email to CBS 6 News, Chesterfield County Public Schools spokesman Shawn Smith said the student made no threats. He added he could not provide further comment due to the ongoing police investigation.
