VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach native Pharrell Williams took to Instagram on Tuesday and posted a photo of what looks like the now famous Black Lives Matter street painting from Washington, D.C. added to an image of the Oceanfront.

The photo shows the yellow painted "Black Lives Matter" statement over the Boardwalk at the Oceanfront. Last week the painting went up on 16th Street near the White House as protesters took to the streets following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Pharrell posted the photo and added a caption that said, "VB, let’s make it happen."
