Woman shot in Richmond; suspects arrested in Chesterfield after pursuit

RICHMOND, Va. – Two suspects are in police custody after a woman was shot in South Richmond Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 3400 block of Walmsley Boulevard for the report of a shooting at approximately 2:34 p.m.

When officers arrived, they located a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two suspects led police on a brief pursuit before being captured in Chesterfield County, according to police. Charges have not been announced at this time.
