BUCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. -- A Trents Mill woman is charged with murdering her husband.
Buckingham County Sheriff's Deputies and Virginia State Police were called to the 300 block of Petersville Church Road at about 9 p.m. Saturday for a shooting.
When law enforcement arrived, they found 33-year-old Chad Steven Given dead at the scene.
"Following an investigation, deputies arrested Cristen Reeves Given, age 33, for her late husband’s death," a Buckingham County Sheriff's Office spokesperson said. "[She] was charged with first-degree murder.

Given was booked into Piedmont Regional Jail without bond.
Investigators have not yet discussed a motive in the case.
