RICHMOND, Va. -- As the pro tennis world was converging on Paris for this year’s later-than-usual French Open, a legend of the sport was here in Richmond to seal the deal on the highest-priced home sale in the region last month. Billie Jean King was in town two weeks ago to sign off on the $2 million sale of 301 Lock Lane, the former Windsor Farms home of her friends Barbara and John (“Jack”) Clark, who had housed King there 50 years earlier when she was competing in the inaugural Virginia Slims Invitational at The Westwood Club.
