Video shows pair wanted in Richmond bar assault

RICHMOND, Va. -- Detectives released surveillance video and photos Friday in hopes of identifying two suspects wanted in an assault at a Shockoe Slip bar last month.

Officers were called to the Southern Railway Taphouse in the 100 block of South 14th Street just before 11:55 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5 for a report of an assault.

The four-second video shows a man hitting the victim, who was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

No additional details about the incident were released.
