PETERSBURG, Va. -- Two arrests have been made following double shooting in Petersburg earlier this year.
23-year-old Levon Rhamar Stanton was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection to a double shooting that occurred in the 2300 block of Navajo Court on April 2.
Stanton is being held without bond and charged with Malicious wounding, Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Discharge of a firearm into an occupied dwelling, and Reckless handling of a firearm.
During his arrest, an officer was assaulted and recieved minor injuries. The suspect Shakeeah Stanton was arrested without incident and she has been charged with Obstruction and Assault on Law Enforcement.
