PETERSBURG, Va. -- An arrest has been made following double shooting in Petersburg earlier this year.
Levon Rhamar Staton, 23, was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection to a double shooting that occurred in the 2300 block of Navajo Court on April 2.
Staton is being held without bond and charged with malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharge of a firearm into an occupied dwelling, and reckless handling of a firearm. During his arrest, an officer was assaulted and received minor injuries.
