Developer buys Richmond Free Press site for $2.4M. What's next for historic building?

RICHMOND, Va. -- The ink has dried on the sale of a longtime newspaper building downtown. The former home of the Richmond Free Press, which recently printed its final issue, sold last week for $2.4 million, city records show.

The buyer of the 3-story, 21,800-square-foot building at 422 E. Franklin St. was an LLC tied to Sam McDonald and Mark Scordo of Property Results, a Manchester-based development firm. Click here to continue reading on Richmond BizSense.
