HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police released details about a Thursday morning incident on Crenshaw Road, near Chamberlayne Road, in Henrico County.
Officers responded to a home in the 5600 block of Crenshaw Road at 6 a.m. to perform a "knock and announce search warrant," according to Henrico Police.
"In the process of knocking and announcing, shots were fired at the police officers," an email from a Henrico Police spokesperson read. "Officers did not return fire and negotiated with the occupants to exit the residence."
No one was hurt, according to police.
No other information was released as the investigation remained ongoing.
