PETERSBURG, Va. -- Police said a pregnant woman is fighting for her life after she was stabbed multiple times in an apartment building Tuesday afternoon.
Petersburg Police responded to the apartments on Pine Street around 3 p.m. after several 911 calls from citizens that reported screaming and saw the woman bleeding.
The woman was rushed to Southside Medical Center, according to officials.
Police found the suspect in the case and said he also had critical injuries. Detectives said it was likely a domestic dispute.
