Police arrest 2 suspects, seek a third in Chesterfield murder

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Chesterfield Police have arrested two suspects and seek a third in connection to a February 2019 murder.

On the night of February 14, 2019, police responded to a home in the 7600 block of Drexelbrook Road for a report that a man was unresponsive outside his residence.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered 53-year-old Dwayne U. Swann, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police made two arrests on September 2, 2020.

Keith M. Bailey, 33, of Richmond and Erika M. McNeil, 32, of Chesterfield were arrested and charged with murder, robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony in relation to Swann's death.

Both are being held at Riverside Regional Jail without bond pending a court appearance.

Police are also seeking a third suspect in connection to the case.They have also obtained indictments against Tramelle L. Jones, 39, charging him with murder, robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony in relation to Swann's death.

Jones is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. His last known residence was in the 400 block of Pulaski Drive in Henrico.
