RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who they say broke into a restaurant twice just days apart.
Police say the suspect forced his way inside of a restaurant in the 2700 block of Chamberlayne Avenue. He then stole cash from the restaurant safe.
Police say the first incident occurred on Christmas at approximately 12:58 a.m. The second incident occurred just after midnight on Monday morning, December 28.
The suspect was captured wearing a distinctive knit cap on Monday morning, according to police.
