No injuries in Mechanicsville Turnpike road-rage shooting

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A shooting on the Mechanicsville Turnpike on Thursday afternoon was the result of road rage, according to Henrico Police.

Police responded to the parking lot of the McDonalds in the 2300 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike around 4 p.m. for reports of shots fired.

Police believe the drivers of two cars got into an altercation while getting off the ramp from I-64 to Mechanicsville.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made.
