Mandated vaccinations for students offered by Richmond Health Department at August clinics

RICHMOND, Va. -- The Richmond City Health District is offering a "Back to School Clinic" on Thursday, August 13th to provide mandated Tdap vaccinations for students who are entering 7th grade.

This vaccination is currently required for school attendance by Virginia law, even if students will be learning virtually.

HPV vaccine will also be available and will be required for students next year.

Tdap and HPV vaccinations will be provided by appointment at 400 E. Cary Street. Call 804-482-5500 on Wednesday, August 12, and on August 20 at the Richmond City Health District.
