RICHMOND, Va. -- One man was injured in a 2-alarm fire at a senior living facility in Richmond Tuesday afternoon.
Richmond Fire crews responded to the fire at Imperial Plaza Senior Living, located at 1715 Bellevue Avenue.
When crews arrived at the scene, they encountered smoke coming from the 8th floor of the building.
One man was found in a room on fire. He was transported to the hospital. There is no word on his condition at this time.
No one else was injured.
The fire has been marked under control.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
