RICHMOND, Va. -- Lidl is launching a new initiative at its stores to reward safe shopping behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shoppers are encouraged to show off their responsible shopping practices, like using masks and practicing social distancing, for a chance to win free groceries each week.
Customers are encouraged to snap selfies that showcase them shopping safely and upload their photos to Instagram, tagging LidlUS and using the hashtag #LidlSafeShopping. Each week through June 16, Lidl will choose one winner for a $100 Lidl gift card.
