CHESTERFIELD, Va. -- The Goddard School of Chester will "temporarily close its doors" after two parents tested positive for COVID-19, according to a letter sent home to parents Friday.
The school also said that in addition to the two positives tests, they are awaiting "more test results."
"Following our faculty meetings this year, our team now feels that is is in the best interest of our families, teachers, and community at large to temporarily close our doors," the letter said.
"We will attempt to run through Friday, Apri 10, to give everyone who absolutely needs childcare services an opportunity to find alternative arrangements."
The school said that they plan to re-open "once social-distancing mandates relax in Virginia."
