Woman who vanished after leaving Richmond treatment center found

RICHMOND, Va. -- Authorities said a woman who vanished after leaving a Richmond treatment center five months ago has been found safe.

"Thanks to numerous calls and tips from the public, Elizabeth F. Dalton has been found safe," Richmond Police officials said Thursday evening.

Dalton was last seen Nov. 8, 2019, after leaving a treatment center in the 3100 block of Ellwood Avenue.

"Her mother is very concerned for her safety," police said.
