HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police have identified the man killed in a double shooting in Henrico County Friday afternoon.
Lt. A. M. Robertson with Henrico Police said officers were called for a shooting report in the 1800 block of Buckner Street around 2:30 p.m.
When police arrived, they found a man and a woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to an area hospital.
Officials said 26-year-old Desean McDowell Jr. of Richmond died of his injuries Saturday morning.
Police said the woman suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
"We are not currently seeking any additional suspects," Robertson said. "This continues to be an active investigation."
Neighbors said multiple juveniles were escorted from the property after the shooting.
