HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a man accused of stealing a car from a driveway.
Deputies responded to the 7100 block of Brook Way in Mechanicsville for a reported auto theft on August 24, 2020.
Investigators say the suspect, captured on security video, stole a 2007 Saturn four-door, bearing Virginia registration UZY-7671.
Officials say the car was left running in the driveway while the victim went inside the residence.
