Crater Health District mass vaccination clinic rescheduled for Friday

PETERSBURG, Va. -- After an ice storm postponed a mass vaccination event last week, the Crater Health District (CHD) is rescheduling the event for later this week.

The mass vaccination clinic was originally scheduled for Friday, February 19. All scheduled appointments have been rescheduled to Friday, February 26.

Health officials say individuals will keep the same appointment time and location which will be at Petersburg High School located at 3101 Johnson Road.

"This clinic is for registered participants. All individuals with appointments for the event will receive notification either via email or by phone informing them their appointment time will transfer of the rescheduled date on February 26," a CHD spokesperson wrote in an email.

The Crater Health District serves the cities of Emporia, Hopewell, and Petersburg and the counties of Dinwiddie, Greensville, Prince George, Surry, and Sussex.
