CHESTERFIELD, Va. -- Reymet Road in Chesterfield County is closed for emergency bridge repairs after the bridge was struck in a crash Thursday morning.
VDOT says an overheight vehicle struck the bridge over Reymet Road beneath Interstate 95.
After inspection, VDOT crews determined that Reymet Road should remain closed while emergency repairs are made.

Drivers are encouraged to use Coach Road (Route 614), Willis Road (Route 613) and Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1/301) as detours.
The emergency repairs are also impacting I-95 as the right lane and right shoulder of I-95 south over Reymet Road (near mile marker 63) are also closed until further notice.
There is no timetable how long the emergency repairs will take.
