CHESAPEAKE, Va. -- An AMBER Alert issued for Vanessa Dasilva was canceled about three hours after the three-month-old Chesapeake infant was abducted, according to police.

The child was found safe around 9 a.m. on Wednesday. No additional information has been released.

The AMBER Alert was issued earlier Wednesday after a car was stolen in Chesapeake.

"The Chesapeake Police Department was called to the 3400 block of Western Branch Blvd in reference to a stolen vehicle that had a three-month-old child inside at the time of the theft," the police department posted on social media. "The vehicle is a gray 2017 Hyundai Tucson with Virginia license plate VXX 1085. On the rear of the vehicle is a “BABY ON BOARD” sticker and a “TEXAS EDITION” emblem with the Texas star. On the rear-view mirror is a pink flamingo."

This is a developing story.
