CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Chesterfield planning commissioners voted Tuesday to recommend tweaks to a long-discussed mixed-use development to allow hundreds of additional residential units as well as a surf pool. The project is dubbed The Lake, a years-in-the-making idea from the Flatwater Cos. that would be built on a 105-acre property near Clover Hill High School.
