HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Henrico Police have named both a woman killed in the West End and the man believed to be the killer.
Ashley Nicole Tolliver, 33, was shot and killed on May 4 and about 9 p.m. outside a hotel near the intersection of West Broad Street and Glenside Drive.
"Officers arrived [to 6800 block of Paragon Place] and determined two victims were suffering from gunshot wounds outside, but within the walkways of the hotel," a Henrico Police spokesperson wrote in an email. "The male is in critical condition, and the female has succumbed to her injuries."
Henrico Police Detectives said they believed Kevin K. Mitchell was responsible for the shooting.
Mitchell, police said, is about 5'7" and has "Nyasia" tattooed on his neck.
