Snow cancelled your COVID-19 vaccine appointment. Now what?

RICHMOND, Va. -- Thousands of people with appointments to get their COVID-19 vaccine Friday or Saturday have had their appointment canceled due to winter weather.

Here's the plan for where you live:

Richmond and Henrico Health District

"Anyone who can't make it to their COVID-19 vaccine appointment because we canceled OR because they do not want to come out in the snow, will be rescheduled for next week," Richmond and Henrico Health Districts spokesperson Cat Long wrote in an email.

FRIDAY, FEB 12:

  • Richmond COVID-19 Vaccine Event : OPEN
  • Henrico COVID-19 Vaccine Event: CLOSED
  • COVID-19 Testing Event: CLOSED
  • COVID-19 Hotline: CLOSED
  • Richmond and Henrico Health District Clinics: CLOSED

SATURDAY, FEB 13:

  • Richmond COVID-19 Vaccine Event: CLOSED

(CHESTERFIELD, Va.) -- Due to inclement weather, Chesterfield Health District canceled the following two closed vaccination clinics due to inclement weather:

· Friday, February 12 at Colonial Heights Middle School

· Saturday, February 13 at Chesterfield County Fairgrounds

Chesterfield Health District

"People who were invited to register for the closed vaccination clinics on Friday and Saturday will be sent a follow-up email with a new link for them to register for another vaccination clinic. At this time, the date of the rescheduled POD has not been set," Virginia Department of Health spokesperson Brookie Crawford wrote in an email.

SATURDAY, FEB 13:
Chesterfield County Fairgrounds: CLOSED
