MIDLOTHIAN, Va. -- Life in Chesterfield is about to get a whole lot sweeter. Richmond-based Gelati Celesti Ice Cream announced plans to open a new ice cream shop in Midlothian.
Plans call for the new store to open at Swift Creek Place on Hull Street Road near Route 288.
"We’re thrilled to be a part of this new shopping center,” owner Steve Rosser said. “It’s the perfect location for Gelati Celesti. Like our other Richmond stores, we hope our Swift Creek location becomes a community spot where friends and families gather to celebrate, indulge in a sweet treat and enjoy a few moments of pure joy.”
The Midlothian store will be the sixth Gelati Celesti in Central Virginia. There is also a store in Virginia Beach.
