Missing Hanover woman found unharmed

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. – Lynn Wilson, reported missing in Hanover County, was found safe Monday night in Montpelier.

“The Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the media for their efforts in quickly communicating this information to the public. We would also like to thank all the
citizens that shared this information on social media,” a Hanover Sheriff’s spokesperson said.

Wilson, 49, had been last seen Monday morning at approximately 11:45 a.m.

She was last seen wearing a purple sweatshirt, dark colored eyeglasses, and possibly grey tights. Wilson is described as a white female approximately 5’7” tall and weighing between 190-200 pounds.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lynn Wilson is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.  Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637 (CRIMES), using the keyword “iTip” followed by their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
