RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Fire crews are battling a house fire in South Richmond's Blackwell neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.
Fire officials said they responded to the 1400 block of Decatur Street around 4:18 p.m. When crews arrived to the scene they found heavy smoke and fire coming out of the roof of the home.
Fire officials marked the fire under control at 4:44 p.m.
There were no victim’s found inside the home and no injuries reported at the scene.
CBS 6 has a crew on the scene.
There is no word on the cause of the fire at this time. Fire investigators and a building inspector are at the scene.
