FORT LEE, Va. — President Barack Obama will be in Central Virginia next week. The president plans to visit servicemen and woman at Fort Lee on Wednesday, September 28.
“The President will travel to Fort Lee in Virginia to meet with service members and the post community to thank them for their outstanding service to the nation,” a White House official said. “Fort Lee is a critical U.S. Army training installation that helps prepare personnel from all services to support the full range of missions our military is called upon to conduct around the world.”
While at Fort Lee, President Obama will tape a CNN Town Hall meeting where he will answer questions from members of the military.
