Car crashes into VDOT arrow truck on I-95 in Hanover

HANOVER COUNTY, Va -- Crews reopened all lanes on I-95 in Hanover after a crash involving a VDOT truck Wednesday morning.

The crash happened on the southbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 99, north of the Kings Dominion Exit, at around 2:00 Wednesday morning. Investigators on scene said a car crashed into one of the arrow trucks VDOT uses around construction zones.

Crews closed the southbound lanes while they cleared the scene. The lanes reopened before 5:00 Wednesday morning.

It's not clear whether anyone was hurt, and investigators have not said what may have caused the crash. Charges have also not been announced in the case.
