Neighbor: 'I saw two people on the ground'

People who live at the apartment complex told WTVR CBS 6’s Brendan King that they heard shouting before the shooting.

Anthony Smith, who lives nearby the shooting scene, said he heard two rounds of gunshots.

“When I opened the door I saw two people on the ground with the police around them and the ambulance coming,” Smith said. “I hope there`s justice and the guy, praise God, that he survives this ordeal.”

At the scene, there was blood splattered on cars and the pavement. There were bullet holes seen in several cars and tires.
