CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va — Police arrested a man accused of stealing from a Chesterfield home Monday morning.
Investigators arrested Devon Shaquil Williams, 20, of the 9000 block of Omaha Street.
Investigators were called to the Broadwater Townhomes in Chester at around 1:30 Monday morning. When they arrived, a victim told them he had been robbed of clothing and several personal items.
The victim was able to get a look at the suspect’s car, and provided the description to police. A short time later, they spotted the car in a driveway near Chester Road and Curtis Street.
After a brief pursuit, a police dog tracked Williams and he was arrested.
Charges are pending.
