SEATTLE — Richmond native and Super Bowl winning quarterback Russell Wilson has signed a $87.6 million contract extension that will keep the Collegiate School graduate with the Seattle Seahawks for the next four years, NFL.com reported. Wilson, who won the Super Bowl in 2014 and nearly turned in a repeat performance in 2015, tweeted about his big news.
Wilson becomes the second-highest paid quarterback in the NFL, behind Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers.
