RICHMOND, Va -- A man was arrested after a police pursuit through Shockoe Bottom in the city.
Police said they spotted a car that had been reported stolen just after 1:30 Thursday morning. When they tried to pull it over, the driver would not stop.
The pursuit lasted several minutes, but police ended it when the driver began going the wrong way up Cary Street.
The car eventually stopped at 18th and Cary, and several people inside got out and ran off.
One person with an outstanding warrant was arrested.
