RICHMOND, Va. -- Friday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine, with highs in the low 80s. Rain chances will again be low in Central Virginia, with just isolated storms possible in the afternoon and evening.

A disturbance off the coast of the Carolinas has a very good chance of becoming a sub-tropical storm Friday night, spreading heavy rain and gusty winds along the coast. Any impact to Virginia should be minor, with an increase in moisture possible late in the weekend and early next week.

Saturday and Sunday will be warm and slightly humid days, with highs in the mid 80s. A few thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon and evening. For a more in-depth look at the weather, click here.
