RICHMOND, Va. — The FBI’s Central Virginia Violent Crimes Task Force issued an alert Thursday for help in finding Dquan Lamar Thomas, of Richmond. Thomas is wanted to connection with a series of carjacking and cigarette robberies.
“The Task Force has been investigating a string of armed carjackings/robberies of commercial cigarette distributors in the Richmond, Virginia area since November 2014,” FBI spokeswoman Dee Rybiski wrote in an email.
Some of the crimes the FBI mentioned included the November 11, 2014 carjacking of a cigarette distributor, the November 25, 2014 robbery of a cigarette distributor and a January 7, 2015 armed robbery at a Glen Allen storage unit.
The FBI said Thomas is considered armed and dangerous.
“Anyone with information that may lead investigators to the whereabouts of Dquan Lamar Thomas is encouraged to contact the Central Virginia Violent Crimes Task Force at 202/365-5627 or Richmond@ic.FBI.gov,” Rybiski wrote.
