HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Henrico Police arrested a man and charged him with DUI, possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license after his car hit a tree and ran into a home on West End Drive early Tuesday morning.
The driver, Derrick McCollum, was not seriously hurt in the 3 a.m. crash.
The tree, investigators said, slowed down the car just enough so it did not damage the home too badly upon impact.
