CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — The community has come together to help the family of a Chesterfield mother killedin a car accident Saturday afternoon on Genito Road near Bailey Farm Road in Chesterfield County.
As of Sunday afternoon, more than $4700 had been raised in less than 24-hours to assist with funeral expenses for Natali Castellanos-Tyler.
The wife and mother of three died after police said she lost control of her vehicle on Genito Road and crashed into a tree. Her three-year-old daughter was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The family released the following statement on the GoFundMe page:
“Natalie Castellanos Tyler was killed in a car accident today on Genito Road. She leaves behind three children aged 9, 2, and 1. Her husband and family are devastated and will undoubtedly need help funding her funeral as her husband was a student and working part time at St. Francis Hospital. Any assistance given to this beautiful familly in this tragic time would be received with gratitude.”
