LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Valentine's Day is a day when many celebrate love, but a Las Vegas business has something for those feeling heartbroken or love scorned.
Machine Guns Vegas is offering divorced customers the chance to say goodbye to their past relationship in a blaze of bullets at the range.
The idea came about a year ago when a woman walked in with her wedding dress.
"She was like, I want to shoot this thing, I just got divorced, it was ugly,” said Melissa Cordero, Manager at Machine Guns Vegas. “It obviously provided them with some emotional release."
The range encourages male or female clients, and they can bring in their tuxedo, their wedding dresses, their marriage certificate, even flowers from the wedding and hang it up on the target carrier.
Range master Jackie consummated her divorce in 40 rounds and four seconds. And this was just practice, but it seems the rounds hit all the right areas.
The machine gun is for the divorcee, but there will also be an M4 and an MP5 for the divorcee's party, which can be up to four people. The approximate one hour shindig also includes access to their VIP lounge, complimentary transportation, and a “just divorced sash” they specially made.
The Valentine’s special costs $500.
It’s one more way to say: "I'm gonna move on. Or I hate you and I'm gonna shoot up this dress."
