LOS ANGELES — Linsey Godfrey, 26, who plays “Caroline Spencer” on the CBS soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful” was injured Monday when a car drove up on a Los Angeles sidewalk and hit her, according to a report on KCBS.com. The car hit Godfrey after it was involved in an accident with another vehicle, police said.
Godfrey, who is a new mother, broke her legs in the accident, TMZ reported. However, her manager told E! News otherwise.
“Linsey is recuperating at the hospital. Her doctors expect a full recovery. She will need treatment on her ankles but things are looking good at this point,” the manager said.
Godfrey is a survivor of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and “extremely passionate about bringing awareness to the urgent need for finding a cure for cancer,” according to her bio on the Bold and the Beautiful cast page.
