CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- In December, a group of L.C. Bird High School students delivered puzzle books, pencils, socks, tee shirts, hats, gloves, combs and other necessities to the permanent residents at McGuire VA Medical Center. Before the visit, other students, including the Bird boys basketball team, helped gather and sort the items and make gift bags.
